In the event of a violent intruder situation, all teachers in Alachua County Schools are trained in a program called ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate). The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) and the ALICE Training Institute have received an extensive number of requests from parents and students for information and optional responses should a situation occur at their school. On March 7th, we will be holding a free webinar for parents and students in the Florida area to provide basic information on school safety and options for a proactive response to an active shooter situation. You will hear from Mo Canady, the NASRO Executive Director and Greg Crane, Founder of ALICE Training Institute. Join us to learn more about school safety and options for yourself and your family in an active shooter situation.
Feel free to register for the webinar even if you cannot attend and we will send you the recording.
Time: Mar 7, 2018 12:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)
